Create a short, feature, or pilot while studying the essentials of formatting, 4-dimensional characters, hooks, distillation, polish, pitching, and any other questions answered.

Taught by Sam Kozel, Professional Screenwriter, Producer and Guest Lecturer at the Milwaukee Repertory Theater for the Acting for Camera program.–Learn/Education-Programs/Meet-the-Education-Staff/

Sam has been working in the film industry for over 12 years.  He currently runs the non-profit movie studio Film Freed based in Milwaukee, WI and helps produce filmmakers’ projects and assist student filmmakers.

Sam currently has two feature films in development in LA.  The first of which, “Cancer Kids”, reached the top 5% of the Blacklist in 2015, is slated for production in September, is being tracked by Sundance, and is currently in the running for Sundance’s Catalyst Lab.

The second “Goldblooded” won first place in the Screencraft Winter 2015 Short Film Production Fund for $10,000 and a feature version is in the works for 2017.
